We are proud to collaborate with local businesses & tour operators on Vancouver Island to create customized culinary experiences. This list is by no means exhaustive, as we are adding new partners every week.
Comox Harbour Charters
Comox Harbour Charters operates the 40 ft Twee Schoenen (“Two Shoes” in Dutch). It is owned by Danny Clair, who brings more than 35 years of experience in the Marine & Tourism Industry in British Columbia. The Twee Schoenen provides a comfortable ride for groups of up to 8, and is perfect for short excursions, sunset dinners, day trips with gourmet beach picnics, crabbing, marine tours, or multi-day trips up into Desolation Sound.
49 North Helicopters
49 North Helicopters was founded by Sheena Ell and Jean-Marc Messmer, both highly qualified helicopter pilots and flight instructors with more than 40 years of combined flying experience. Their team specializes in providing the most unique, fun and flexible air tours across our beautiful island. Experience a stunning flight over the Comox Glacier, fly above the most remote inlets of BC and access the Coast Mountain Range in an amazing way. Land in a beautiful location and spend some time on the ground with wine and a gourmet picnic. Tour a local distillery or wineries, jump between golf courses and fishing charters, or hop over to the West Coast and spend an afternoon surfing in Tofino.
Island Gourmet Trails
Gaetane Palardy and her business “Island Gourmet Trails” offer relaxed, fun and delicious culinary tours through the Comox Valley region. Foodies find the area still lives up to its native name: “Komox,” meaning “land of plenty.” Located in the heart of Vancouver Island, the valley is bountiful with fresh seafood, organic farms, superb wines and artisan producers. A chef as well as a culinary guide, Gaetane enjoys the intimacy of small group tours, and happily shares with participants her own experiences along the way.
